I was searching for a running coach and came across Martise Moore. I wanted to increase my speed and running proficiency. At our first meeting, she had me run a few times to watch my running form. She instantly corrected my form. I have to say, I ran like a robot and my upper body was stiff.
I needed a running coach to help me train for the police academy. I worked with Martise for almost 9 months. She is very professional, compassionate and knowledgeable of her craft. She taught me the importance of mid–foot strikes, running with relaxed shoulders, also the importance of running with a strong core.
I entered the police academy this month. I have to say, working with Martise has improved my running confidence greatly. One of the events in the police academy is the 300 meter sprint. I’m 37 years old and the average age of my class is under 24. On race day, I was the second person to cross the finish line. I gained the respect of the class and my Drill Instructors. One of the recruits said, “That old man is fast.” I could not have done it without the help of GreenRunner.
If anyone is looking for a running coach, I highly recommend Martise. GreenRunner transformed me into a runner. Before I came to Martise, I hated running with a passion. Now I have to say that running is a passion of mine, thanks to the professionals at GreenRunner. Thanks Martise for your help!

Coach Martise has been a very integral asset to our daughters running future. She truly understand the applications of running fundamentals and has inspired our daughter to perform to the best of her abilities. Her training techniques and encouragement has inspired our daughter to work harder in order to achieve her goals. We look forward to more training and encouragement in the near future. Thank you Coach Martise!

I have been working with Martise for over 4 months now, and I have nothing but amazing things to say about her and her training methods. She is very professional, takes pride in teaching, and has an immense knowledge of the body and fitness. She helped me work to make my running form more efficient and she constantly pushes me to work harder in a way that is inspiring. I am pretty stubborn, but she is still able to push me without making me want to quit. Her personality is easy going, funny and caring. I like that she meets with you in places that are outside of the gym, as we consistently change up where we meet, which keeps things interesting. She is always on time and has never canceled on me. I would recommend her to anyone looking for a running coach.

Martise…really is as good as it gets! I originally emailed her with a big challenge. My son is in 8th grade and plays baseball. Since 1st grade, he has always felt he was really slow….and it showed. I knew he would not be able to compete on the High School level unless he got faster. I basically asked her if she could give my child confidence. I was asking her to teach him to believe in himself….AND make him faster. WOW! I saw massive changes just in one session. She was able to fix his running form so that his body worked with him instead of against him. Two months later, my slow kid has enough confidence to lay down a bunt and make it to 1st base. Power power power. She has worked with him as a sprinter and building his stamina. When the team runs laps, he is NO LONGER THE LAST ONE BACK!! She is a gifted trainer and an amazing human being. We feel so lucky to have found her and to now have her as a positive role model in our son’s life.

Thanks for being so awesome, Coach! It was a great experience for my daughter (12) and I (47!). Watching her form and confidence transform in a mere hour’s time was incredible. Both of us are ready for more. See you soon!

Martise was outstanding. Our two kids took a lesson from her and the first thing they said in the car on the way home was, “When can we do it again?” She coaches in a very positive way and gives clear, concise, easy to understand tips that not only make younger athletes better, but are things they can take home and practice on their own. Highly recommend.

Thank you for having cheered me up!
I ran 1:39:03, which was more than 4 minutes faster than last one. I’m ready for upcoming NYC City Marathon!
